Oak Alley Tour
You’ve seen this stately line of historic oaks in countless photos and films: the incomparable, the iconic , Oak Alley Plantation. Twenty eight magnificent trees, centuries old, guide your approach all the way from the Mississippi River to the stunning main house.
Tour guides in plantation era costumes will show our guests throughout the main house on a 45 minute comprehensive tour, after which you will have ample time to explore the surrounding grounds, slave cabins, exhibits, and gift shops.
No plantation tour is complete without enjoying lunch or a cocktail at one of the properties 3 restaurants and bars! Choose from either a light lunch at the sandwich shop or a complete meal at the full service restaurant.

Laura Plantation Tour
The Laura Plantation tour is a historical tour that includes viewing a 200-year-old sugar plantation home as well as three beautiful gardens. Guests will cover twelve buildings including, slave cottages, the Maison de Reprise, and animal barns.
Considered one of the most historical plantation tours to view in the New Orleans area, the Laura Plantation property is a must-see while in the Mississippi River Valley area. Four Creole women ran the plantation for over sixty years. The plantation is named after one of those women, Laura.
One of the more interesting tidbits about the plantation you will learn about on the tour is that the house was nearly destroyed from a fire in 2003. It was later rebuilt in a long, intricate renovation process. Additionally, the stories of Br’er Rabbit and Br’er Fox are thought to have been translated Senegalese folklore at Laura Plantation.
